It is an unrefined and lacks heat treatment rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins soluble in oil, lecithins, phytosterols and minerals valuable for people’s health. We consider our products to help customers go back to the natural and healthy diet. The seeds are processed by using a technology for cold seed pressing which means that the oil is mechanically pressed on a low temperature (lower than 45°C) with lack of heat and chemicals. After separating the oil from the seed the impurities are removed from it physically using filters and techniques. Afterwards, it is being packed in glass and plastic bottles ready to use.

SUNFLOWER OIL
Healthy, natural sunflower oil produced from oil type sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil is light in taste and appearance and supplies more Vitamin E than any other vegetable oil. It is a combination of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats with low saturated fat levels. Cold press sunflower seed oil is produced with simple pressing of the sunflower seed in specially designed press. Cold press procedure is a very simple extrusion method for squeezing the oil, without application of heat or chemical solvents (i.e without refining of the product) which results in so called pure oils. As it is a very subtle and sensitive product, in the process of cold pressing it is important not to exceed 45 C, in order to obtain the true bouquet and retain all vitamins and essential fatty acids. The combination of fatty acids in the body are extremely important for maintaining various elements of human health. Thus, sunflower oil with its fatty acid content, which includes palmitic, stearic, oleic acid and linoleic acid can help maintain that balance. The high content of vitamin E can positively affect huge range of conditions that people regularly suffer from. Furthermore, it has more polyunsaturated fats that any other commonly used vegetable oil. Cold pressed sunflower oil is used in cooking: salads, sauces, pasta and preparing other dishes. However, it is 100% natural and it is much better than the refined oils, thanks to its pure taste, thickness and richness.
Origin and history
The sunflower is considered native to North America. Many enthusiasts claim that it was first cultivated by Native Americans over 8,000 years ago. As early as 2,000 BC, sunflowers were being grown using methods that encouraged bigger seeds and a more bountiful crop. The Indians have been using it, among other as diuretic, for constipation and for the improvement of the eyesight. It had already become a major staple in the diet of Native Americans by the time European explorers first visited America. The oil-bearing qualities were discovered in 18th century and some of the first production processes took place in Russia, then in USA.
